“As women who found themselves all-over-again while on a motorcycle, we thought there couldn't be anything better than spending a day on a bike. But, then we found our tribe. The ‘GS Girls’ has become a fantastic community for riders who want to get out and adventure. We've made friends, found mentors, become mentors, and developed a community that is spreading across the country.”

Here is some information regarding the upcoming GS Girls events within the BMW MOA International Rally.
The key volunteers are as follows:-
Bex Becker - Colorado GS Girls - 719-200-2370
If you cut me I’d probably bleed motorcycles. Riding since 1985, starting out small in the UK I grew into my love of boxer twins. I’ve never looked back, always having my moto family as the single most constant support in my life it was no surprise when in 2013 I created a Facebook community page GS Girls Riding and Colorado GS Girls Riding Group. Then merging with the rest of the GS Girl community I realized I had arrived ‘home’. I have found my calling as a community builder, dot connector and spreader of all the good stuff. Currently I am also serving as Treasurer on the BMW MOA Foundation board and as Women's Program Manager at Motorcycle Relief Project, an incredible non-profit very dear to our hearts. From selling silicone additives/resins to photography to admin in a PT Clinic, my paid work is also fulfilling. I am lucky to be married to the lovely Lee Becker & we are permanent & proud Coloradan residents. Life’s about creating a feast for our senses! See you in Salt Lake City!
Lydia Jones - Utah GS Girls - 925-285-2026
I started riding eleven years ago in the Bay Area. My first bike was a Ninja 650; I loved riding that bike up and down the coast and all over the Santa Cruz Mountains! When I moved to Utah (smack dab between the Great Basin and the Rocky Mountains), I realized I needed to make a switch. This last year, I have started to explore some off-road byways on a 2013 f800GS and a 2015 Yamaha TTR230. When I'm not on a bike, I work as a book indexer specializing in fine art books and museum exhibition catalogs.
Louise Powers - Colorado GS Girls - 805-598-1529
Louise Powers lives and rides on the Front Range of Colorado, and coaches for West 38 Moto. She is passionate about the role of the GS Girls in the moto community, and is eager to spread the word and grow the Tribe. Louise enjoys seeing new places, hot springs, and breweries, and loves any trip on her motorcycle that will take her to them. Follow along, beginning in September, as she heads for the tip of South America.
Bettina Nedel - Colorado GS Girls
Bettina Nedel is a newbie in the adventure riding world. She’s been doing road for 25 years and fell in love with the Gelande side of the sport with her first dirtbike. Soon after, a KTM 690 Enduro came in to her life and the world opened to new and incredible faces and places. Next, she found her tribe- the GS Girls. A women centric group of riders that embody community, camaraderie, and ADVENTURE! Is there anything better? She is in training to compete in the GS Trophy qualifier and possibly go to Mongolia for the team competition. Her goals are to continue growing the tribe in Colorado and around the world and spreading the love of riding.
Ellen Gines - Idaho GS Girls - 208-921-3342
A busy Mom with three dirt-bike riding kids and a full-time job, I’m also co-owner of Into the Horizon Adventure Motorcycle Tours and Rentals in Boise, Idaho with my husband Lance.
While I have lots of motorcycles to ride, my favorite is my 2015 F800 GS Adventure, which I plan to ride when I take on the GS Giants course at the MOA Rally. It’d be a huge accomplishment to get through that craziness with just two years of riding under my belt!
I love being a part of the GS Girls because it feels as if we are all there to cheer one another on and have fun and, of course, Great Shenanigans!

Heidi Woerheide - New Mexico GS Girls - 218-464-7922
I started riding 4 years ago. My first and only bike is a F650GS that I got so I could keep up with and go where my husband goes on his R1200GS. I currently reside in northern NM and am looking to explore my new surroundings. I love the open (back) road and looking forward to meeting some new riding friends!
Colleen (aka motopippi) - 831-566-2561
Hi, I'm Colleen. I ride a 2016 R1200 GSW. Motorcycles and motorcycle safety take up a huge portion of my life. I started riding with a passion 15 years ago. Within 2 years, I was teaching new motorcyclists to ride in California on the weekends and I still do that. I am a retired police officer from Santa Cruz, CA and I also worked as a motor officer. I currently train instructors in CA and teach advanced courses. I ride all the time and put 20,000-30,000 miles a year on my bike, riding track days, some dirt and lots of touring 😃👍 I love riding with others, sharing information and talking about motorcycles!
